Default Cheap rear disks, good idea ??

I need to replace my rear disks and pad, I can faintly hear a brake rubbing noise, I don't want to pay silly money, ie subaru prices, but was wondering if cheap non-eo disk are any good, camskill do a vented rear pair for 45 quid. Thought about these combined with some DS2500, does this seem like a reasonable setup or should I buy different disks.

Considering its a single pot sliding rear and only two pots up front with Tarox G88 disk+pads.........at the moment anyway !!

Why are they so cheap ???

Those are the very ones, are these made of a lower grade material than OE disks, liable to crack, warp etc or is there no difference between them except price.

Would I notice any difference between these, OE stuff or Tarox etc, all with the same DS2500 pad on the back (20-30% braking) ???

Cheers.

Hey Monkey

I have just rang camskill they tell me there is no diferance in the making of the standard ones and the drilled ones there price diff is for drilling only...

So i say its got to be worth a chance at only 45.00 a pair...

I have ordered stuff from them, found the service and products v good.
If they think you make a mistake when ordering (as i did), they'll question it as well.

Cracking price, you won't be disappointed.

Thumbs up Thanks for the Votes of Confidence

Thanks for the votes of confidence.

Yes they are cheap, no they are not some shady type of balsa wood disc.

Supplied from a UK source.

We simply get a cracking price because we buy loads of discs from them.
(Over 1000 discs in stock for various makes/models at any time)
Then we pass it on to you

There's a group buy on fronts and rear pads (Apec) in the group buy section. I bought front and rears and they're as good as Subaru ones if not better, and I've given them some serious stick

No offence OakLeaf, just enquiring, I've got the disks now and will definately be coming back, no problems what so ever, ordered them and the next day a nice fat box full with nice shiny bits arrived, perfect.

Cheers.
