should have asked about the possible problems before buyin them bud. i went through 2 sets of them because this happened within 6 weeks of each set. i ended up getting my money back. supposedly it's only scoobs they have this trouble with two other peeps i know on here have the same problem too. speak to the main man at arospeed and tell him to ram them!

My mate had this problem on his GTIR, he got the first set replaced under warranty from the shop he bought them and they went exactly way, he wasn't very impressed, he's now getting them replace with some Super Turismo Gt's.

I've read a few other reports like this on here, but I don't think its got anything to do with the car or front/back etc just the very thin protective top coating, shame though as they do look good.

You always run a high risk of flaking with any polished rim thats been lacqured as it has very little to key to.

This is why the AMG wheels are so popular in the Merc warranty departments lol.

so would people generally recommend avoiding polished lips, or any wheels that are just laquer with no paint protection? I've seen a few that I really like and some have a polished lip or face (eg BKs)

What alternatives are there for our climate? Is stainless steel facing the answer?

imho any other manufactured wheel would be better than arospeeds. they will still corrode but not as quick as these!
