I have rather stupidly managed to 'kerb' a rear wheel, going round a tight corner. The kerb has scratched the gold finish of the edge and looks awful.
They are O.Z 18"s, and even worse the scratches are where the prodrive writing is, not on a plain bit
Any ideas of anything I can do, short of buying a new wheel?? I have asked the dealers if it is possible to buy matching touch up paint, and they checked with O.Z who said no.....

Might be worth a trip down to your local model shop and try to get hold of some gold paint from there. Mo guarantee of a perfect match, but the small Humbrol pots are around £2 (I think) so it's not expensive.

Mark,

I'm getting Wicked Wheels round on Friday to spray some standard turbo silver wheels gold so they match the one I Knackered on the Terzo.

I think they charge about £55.00 per wheel. Don't know about the Prodrive bit though.

I let you know what they look like when finished.

get the wheel refinished as above

ring Spike at Listers and he can supply you with some replacement stickers to go on the wheel.

They are very very good and you cant tell the difference apart from they stand very slightly proud of the rim

good pricee too !!
