Question Hancook Tyres... any good??

Not looking at putting these on the scoob.... so no ‘why put cr@p tyres on a performance car’ comments please

Most wheel / tyre packages that I have seen for the misses Focus, seem to come with Hancook tyres as one of the options. Anyone had any experience of these or know if they are good or bad ??

I guess they are a budget tyre...... but our they cr@p

People call them budget but they are only £10 less than Toyo Proxies. It's just that there are a lot of UNKNOWN tyres for sale that cost more than the Hankook's. I bought my scooby with 2 on the front. They are bald and need replacing ASAP but I am VERY surprised at how good they are even in there condition. I'm so impressed that instead of spending £100 each for Eagle F1's, I have just ordered 4 for my scooby at £65 each. If they really are no good then I'll just replace them in 15K miles anyway.

I bought a set of Hankook K406 195/60's for my fathers Legacy GLS and for the price they are a great tyre. Good grip in all conditions and pretty comfortable as well

I had Hankook Ventus on my first RA.

SO2pp's they weren't, but they were far from crap.

Got them on the Corrado, just as good as Fulda, way better than Yokahama 539's. Might not be as good as Toyo/F1's at the limit but fine for most peoples uses.

I thought TVR were fitting Toyo's as standard (certainly were up until very recently anyway)? Haven't heard bad things about Hancook, so at the prices quoted, I guess they are worth a try.

Well if my Goodyear F1s are anything to go by, they are worth a try.

I have 18" P1 wheels and Hankook K104 Ventus Sport 215/40/18 tyres on my MY00. Nothing bad to say about them. Great tyres and definitely worth a try.

I'm after a set of tyres shortly too for MY00 16s.

What version of Hancook are you buying?
