Question

Has anybody here used these pads? I am looking at having these fitted to my 6 pots.

Thanks Dan

Moe, I had them from that old name Sunil some time ago.

I fitted the pads on Saturday, and gently beeded them in. They had a nice polite running on the track at Dono yesturday. All I can say is THEY STOP!

The only side effect I'm now getting funny orange dust on the wheels.

Orange dust - you haven't got DS3000's in have you.....

I'm running Pagid blue's in my 6 pots - not cheap tho....

Dave, these compound pads have been about for a while, not highly known about. They are the new compound.

I paid £130 + VAT for them. I had the stock Pagids that came with the 6 pots, not bad. Bit hairy after 4/5 laps on circuit. But then I normally change the pads for track anyway for some 83 or 93 compound pads.

Hi Dan

I was aware of the 2500's, just wasn't sure if you were saying you had got them or were going to.

In that case, the orange dust shouldn't be irremovable!

Hey Dan,

I got my interior done yesterday the full Nito works, with 4 x gauges 2 of them fitted in your pod. I had to make some adjustments and covered it in some tart black felt.

I'll show you next time.

I got 4 pot AP's the road race ones, they came with Carbon metalic pads, THE DOG'S m8!! Andy Tang was in my car when I slamed them on at 100mph he claims they stopped better than this 6 pots!

Look forward to meeting with you soon DANNY SON!

Moe, I used to run the carbon metallics, what ones are you using? Z rated or stronger?

Have been fitting these in Saab's since god was a lad . and more recently in Alcon 330mm Footprint.

I had always been immensely impressed with DS4003.... and these are even better. Will have them for standard 4 pots very soon

cheers

Ric, trying called Geoff 01322 286850. Give him the caliper model number, he can find out from there.
