Brake Judder
I've got the standard brake disks, pads and calipers on my 97 WRX. I'm noticing more and more that when the brakes are hot the stearing judders under breaking. Is it time for new disks (warped?) or pads (they fade too quick anyway!)?
If it is an automatic car, then then all shudder under hard braking, if your car is an auto then try putting the car in nuetral then slamming on the brakes, IT WORKS. It is a known problem with auto trans Subarus.
If your car is manual trans then yes your rotors are warped.

Hi there
I get judder too on MY97. Had new EBC greenstuff pads in few months ago but has not improved so new discs and pads(again) going in on Monday.
Definitely warped discs on mine. Shows up worst when they are heated up on a decent run.
Hope this helps

OK Looks like Turbo grooved discs and greenstuff pads then. And yes the judder is a heck of a lot worse when pads and disks are hot after a 'spirited' run.
Big cheque to TSL or Demon Tweeks then...
Which would you guys recommend, TSL or Demon?
