Just fitted 1999 type 4 pot calipers,8 groove pagid discs,pagid blues and goodridge hoses to a 1996 STi,since they were fitted if i go slow and gently tap the brake pedal i can here a tapping noise from them.
I put copperslip in between the two anti rattle plates and the pads but this is where the sound seems to be coming from??
No lack of performance from the brakes either
Any ideas welcome

did u fit the little spacer that fits on the side of the pad as this takes out a small amount of play between the pad edge and the housing

When i bought the 2nd hand calipers they had 1 anti rattle plate and another plate with slots in either side of the pads???
Explain more please
