I was thinking of doing a rear disk conversion (drums at the moment!), is it posiable/worth it, or would I be better just upgrading the fronts?

Most of the braking is done by the fronts, so I'd concentrate on them.

Yes I agree, the back brakes only balance the car, unless you are going to do racing or similar not much point changing the rears. Changing the front you will get massive gains.

There are 2 problems with this idea . One is that it would probably affect the brake balance of the car but the ABS would probably sort that out itself . The other problem it that AFIK you can't simply fit discs onto the standard rear axle . You have to fit the whole back axle out of a turbo or similiar .

I thought that might be the case!

If I were to upgrade the fronts I guess that it has 2 pots at to moment so an upgrade to 4 pots and drilled disks would be the way to go. Since it's only got 15" wheels I think they need to go bigger to cover the brakes?
