Bleeding brakes after track days?

I've seen mention of this, do people do this, is it necessary?

For saloon racing it is recommended to bleed after every race but their brakes can get up to 1000C.
It is probably wise to bleed more frequently when doing track days. A normal DOT4 should be done probably once per year and a DOT4+ maybe every 6 months.

Question

I don't believe there can be a generic yes or no answer except this one :
Has the brake feel/action degraded since you did the day? If it's worse after than it was before then there is a reason to bleed, if not then no reason.
If it ain't broke don't fix it is the short answer IMHO.
