Whats better?
NO-i had a set of alcons on my p1 and they faded, required copious cleaning and squeaked annoyingly in town,as well as requiring to be taken apart at services to clean according to a local subaru dealer.the pads and discs prices would bankrupt a small african country!
brembos are much better but can be improved on by uprating pads, brake fluid and hoses and when discs go they will be replaced by dba slotted discs for cheaper than oem discs, oem discs and pads are priced like alcons-too high
all IMHO

I don't think the alcons are going to improve your braking either really, not so you'd notice anyway. I've had a few sets of Brembo's and I've never really been that chuffed with them to be honest.
I've got AP Racing 352mm discs and 6pot callipers on mine at the mo, much cheaper than the other AP sets because they were originally made for the MG group by AP and they had a massive stock pile. But admitedly a good bit of money to lash out for brakes, IMHO worth every penny though
