What Difference Does an Inch Make ?
Asked the Wife and She just smiled
But really
I have the standard 17" on my WRX MY01
I love the Oz Super T's and seriousley considering raiding the bosses piggy bank (Co.Car)
But I am unclear what an Inch on a wheel really does other than add to the cost
Sorry if I'm being really thick
I await to be informed

Bigger wheels and tyres theoretically offer better steering response/feel, but you're now into the area of seriously diminishing returns. On the downside, harder ride, tramlining, significant extra wheel/tyre cost and a lot more unspung weight (don't do it without a suspesnion upgrade).
If you want to improve the performance of your car (not just the looks) get yourself a PPP engine upgrade and some proper brakes. I'm sure your local dealer will be happy to advise on Prodrive goodies.
