I'm thinking of buying some OZ Superturismos for my MY2000.

The local dealer seemed to think they do a special edition gold version with the correct offset for Scoobs? Can anyone confirm this?

What is the retail price of these wheels?

What tyre size is best for 17" Scoobs?

What sort of loading would I expect on my Insurance (if any?) changing to these wheels?

Cheers,

Ian.

Question

I have already Superturismos Evo gold 17x7, 48mm offset, with Michelin Pilot Sport 215/40/17 (mainly for their ride quality) on my My2000 Impreza. Is there any problem with the offset (too small) while the recommended is between 52-55? Let me know your opinion after your search...

The Gold OZ super Ts are fine, as they were made specifically for the MY99+ Impreza. Other colours of Super Ts however will not fit

Hi guys

let me tell something to contribute.

I have my MY99 with Speedline gold 17x7 and 215x45-17 tires.the wheel ofset is 48 mm.
no problem.

but, if you are thinking to lower the car, in the future, you will have your tires touching the arches.

after doing that to my car I realised that with a 52-53 mm wheel ofset, this problem never ocurred.

is there a solution, are you asking.
yes, offcouse.

give a look at

Hi all...
I know it's too late for replying to this topic, but i still have questions.
I am thinking to fit the "professional" suspension kit from Prodrive, witch lowers the car about 2 cm front-rear. Do i have problem with the Superturismos, as many people says, because of the small offset (48)?
Ok, all of you answer yes, but i mean with half load car (2 persons), in bad roads (holes etc)...
Bear in mind that the "professional" kit is hard enough, and the 215/40/17 whell, is 0,7 cm lower than the standard 205/50/16...

Hi Jim!

I'm running the SuperTurismo gold on my MY99. I have also the Leda-kit fitted to my car so the car is lowered.

I'm however running on 205/45 P-Zero's with no problems.

My understanding is that you may or may not run into problems depending on what tyres you will choose to mount on your ST. Running with P-Zero's should give you no problems even with 215 because of how they're built. S-02's will give you problems if I heard correctly.

Sincerely,

Max!

Hi Max
Useful your opinion I think.A friend with the same setup with you, sell me the Superturismos because the wheels foul the arches, I don't know why...
I heard also one other boy in Subaru service with 215/40/17 (I don't know the tire model) and Prodrive WR suspension without problems.
I am completely confused... Anyway I gave my order to the local Subaru dealer and no answer from Prodrive about the suspension.
I' ll tell them my complaints in Acropolis rally!! hehe...Good luck to Subaru WR Team.

Although thanks a lot Max. My greetings to Sweden.
