Question

Can anyone tell me if the P1 (MY00)fronts are the same as the standard 98-00 turbo 4-pot set up
or differant?

I might be able to get hold of a set as I desperately want to upgrade my 2-Pots and this seems a good idea judging by all the problems people are having with aftermarket matching of pads & discs...

Advice appreciated guys

Trevor

yes they are the same but you will need the discs that go with them as they are bigger and the wheels to clear the calipers

The std P1 set up has the same dimensions for calipers & discs as an MY00.
If you're putting them on an MY97 then budget for new wheels to clear the calipers.

Yes mate

a cracking upgrade. As the lads say.. a 16" is needed to clear the calipers.

Grey iron discs and DS 4003 pads make these a very good set of stoppers... goodridge lines will give u a lovely pedal as well.

Cheers

Thanks Guys - I have the six spoke 16" Gold alloys that came as a package with Bridgestone R010's from Subaru - I think they were the early P1 alloys before they moved to 17", so the current P1 brakes, discs etc should fit then?

Now if I can only get hold of some 4-pots for a reasonable price - I keep showing interest but the "seller" goes cold on me....

Cheers Trevor
