Does anybody of you have experience with Semperit tires?
I'm looking for a new set of 215/40 17's and I got this offer: a nearly new second hand set for 30£ each.
New they cost 80£. they ask 100£ for Goodyears.
I saw the tires and they don't look like they suffered much.
I wonder how much grip they offer and how long they will last. Now I have Goodyears.
I think I'm going on with this deal as the price is unbeatable.

I have Godyear f1's fitted to my car and recon they are pretty damn good.

IMHO
I thought Semprit was a budget make and not Premium like Goodyear, Pirelli,Bridgestone, Michelin, Yoko, etc.

Just thought....
Try a search on here for tyre comparison or performance guide. Someone put together a very comprehensive guide a while back, Not unlike the one on your link.

Thumbs up

I'm running 16" Semperits at the moment.
They are Continental copies and come with a damage insurance in the UK.
They are hard wearing and give a progressive feel on the limit. When very hot they can squeel when pushed hard round corners.
They are not noisy at motorway speed (or not over the SS anyway) and handle the wet well.
In summary, they were 60% of the cost of Toyo and 95% the performance.
I'd buy them again .....
