I need some new front brake pads for my MY00. I'm considering sticking with Subarus own pads as I don't want to change the discs yet and have seen reports of other pads warping the standard discs.

Any idea if they are available cheaply from anywhere by mail order, etc? I think the standard dealer price is around £100 a set

Cheers,

Ian.

Question

I popped into Halfords today and whilst browsing was surprised to find they stock Ferodo front pads for the Scoob, at £25.99 a pair Anyone tried these?

Is that for the MY00?

£26 - I can just about run to that!

I'd be interested if anyone has tried these and how they compare with the original pads.

Thanks,

Ian.

IMHO you would be better with a non-OEM pad that will not **** your standard discs. I have used EBC Greenstuff and Tarox with no problems.
