Sounds like brake fade to me, what setup do you have?

the car has the original set up it came with when new, only other mods are a wrsport b box magnex decat cent and a hks power flow filter.
the brakes seem to do it after only a few corners .

Paul, what year is the car?

You could try upgrading the pads to something like a DS2000 (Dealer Upgrade!, but can be bought cheaper), and changing the brake fluid to a DOT 5.1

If you have the Subaru 4 pot brakes, you could also change to braided hoses, all round.

Paul

You might have a spot of wheel bearing movement, causing the pads to be knocked back into the caliper.
Does the bad braking continue? or is it just the first time you apply the brakes after the corner?

I was getting a lot of pad knock off as described by Ron.
The first time I pressed the pedal after cornering hard it dropped about an inch lower than normal but was OK on the next press.
I eventually traced it to the rear pads which were almost siezed in the rear pad carriers. After filing a bit from the end of the pads so they moved freely the problem has almost completly gone.It might be worth checking
