EBC Red problem- urgent advice needed
#1
Chaps,
I've just fitted some EBC redstuff pad to the front of my MY99.
Unfortunately the last pad to go on is damaged- theres a big chunk out of the friction material, going about half the way through the pad (yep I'm a pillock for not checking more thoroughly b4).
So I've left if with three new pads and one OEM (with a fair amount of pad material left.
I am waiting to see if I can get just one replacement pad, but
!!!if anyone thinks this is a bad thing to do please let me know and I'll put all the old pads back on.!!!
I don't do high mileages and hope it will not be a problem. Finers crossed I'll get it resolved before doing more than 100 miles.

I wouldn't think that using different pad materials on the same disc is a good idea, and would never do it myself.
I'd definitely put the old ones back on until you get a new replacement.
Stef.
