I have been told that AP 6 pots dont have dust seals and therefore are not recomended for road use, Is this true or utter cr@p!!?

AP Racing make more than one six-pot caliper! But the one you want is coded CP5555. It is a slightly modified version of the brake fitted to Aston Martin's 200mph Vantage, and is designed for road use. They have dust seals and are PTFE coated. They are the best you can get, so don't mate them with cheapo discs.

The kit you have ordered from Scoobysport will have dust seals, Scooby Mania developed this kit in conjunction with AP Racing to its current form and dust seals are fitted. (The caliper No. is 5570 not 5555).

They are (wickedly) suitable for road use.

As what Pat, Tim W and Mark A. thought of them. They was all diving to the front when I touched the brakes last night!
