I have been offered a used set of 16" Gold Speedline to replace the 15" OEM ones on a Silver MY97 Turbo. Should I get them repainted to silver or anthracite or stay with gold? There aren't that many specimens around here to see whether the color will be a mismatch. Also, is there a 'shelf life' for tyres as they came with Bridgestone Potenzas and these have been lying around the garage for a while, even though still have about half the thread left. After experiencing a tyre blowout at high speed, I am paranoid about 'old' tyres.

Advice please.
