Which speedlines on an RB5?

Title says it all really!
My MY98 has got the 4 pots, the Cibies will be fitted next month, and I'm thinking of some 17 inch wheels - I like the ones on the RB5 (but in silver!!)
Rang a couple of dealers: "Sorry sir, can only sell them with an RB5 VIN"!
Does anyone know if these are available anywhere else with the correct offset?
Cheers,
Steve

Hi.
From what I remember (and I might be wrong) they are the same as the ST2 wheel in that the spokes duck in at the end so that they clear the 4 pots, but instead of 6 single spokes they have 6 twin spokes (ala Chrono). Weren't they done as a special for the RB5 only?? Here's an idea, just buy some ST2s and machine a slot down the centre of each spoke

RB5 wheels are unique to that car. The wheel has only been made in this offset and colour specificaly for RB5, although the same design of wheel in gold and silver but a different offset has been available in Japan previously.
The wheel is similar to the ST2 in design with a slot down the spoke, but actually has a slightly different spoke profile.
As you have found they are only available as spares for RB5 to replace damaged wheels.

Cheers for all the help/info guys.
Steve H - LOL! It's a few years since I last used a milling machine! Fancy 'lending' me an ST2 so I can try the slot idea?!
Spoke to my dealer last night as I was dropping the car off for its 45,000 service and he pretty much told me the same about fouling the calipers - rats!
Took Andy's advice and rang a few more dealers. One reckoned that as long as I quote the correct VIN from an RB5, they don't care if I collect them in a Mini or a Merc! We'll see.
I've warned my Boxster-owning mate that he'd better look after his Porsche cup wheels as I reckon they'd look good on my Scooby!
I've also received a few encouraging/helpful emails privately which may point me in the direction of something 'different' that'll fit. I think it's a case of 'watch this space'!
Thanks again,
Steve
