Question

MY00, standard brakes.
What's the recommended minimum front pad thickness before replacing? Mine are at 5mm (new 10mm) having done 15k miles.

Poogs, in theory you can go down to 1mm or less. But only if you're a complete idiot. 3mm min for me. I'd like to know what the Subaru recommendation is - must be enough to get you to the next 7,500 miles service, I guess.

On a track day, you can wreck a set of pads in a morning (depending on the pads and the driver/circuit). Always take a spare set, front and rear.
