Tyre Pressures
#1
I recently acquired a MY98 WRX STi Version 4 with Speedline GT-1 single piece cast 17" aluminium wheels fitted with TOYO Proxes 215/40ZR17 tyres.
I also have the original Subaru gold coloured 5 spoke 16" aluminium wheels fitted with Bridgestone Potenza S.01 205/50R16 tyres.
Please could someone tell me what tyre pressures I should use for everyday road use.
Thank you.

Rod,
I have an STI 5 with Speedline GT1's but with S02 tyres. I have run anything from 28 front 26 rear, to 35 front and 33 rear which I've stayed with. Running these pressures seems to give good turn in with very little understeer, reduces the tramlining and decreases my fuel consumption ( changing from 29/27 to 35/33 and mpg went from 17 to 21 ).
Chris.
