Question

Thinking of a much needed brake upgrade on my MY94 WRX.

If I fit 6-Pot Brembo/AP brakes, will my lack of ABS cause problems?

i.e Will they lock the wheels dead causing skidding (probably more than one kind ) rather than progressive safe braking?

I think the 22B is without ABS and I'm assuming they don't suffer from this.

Cool

There is no Brembo 6 pot upgrade, only AP Racing.

While braking will improve dramatically, without ABS you will have to consider your driving (braking) manner.

Cadence braking may be requred on the limit, you need a cool head when the pressure's on to remember to do it though.

Mike.

The quality of these kits allows you to 'feel' what's happening so well that lack of ABS isn't really a problem - except for the first time you use them when you will be taken so much by suprise that you can't help it LOL. It certainly is easier to lock the brakes if you want to though. Still, original brakes or AP6 pots, if you panic and slam the brakes on you will lock up!
