Red Subaru 4-pot front brake kit

When fitting the red Subaru 4-pot front brake kit to replace the 1-pot floating calipers to MY96, does it requires other modification? I know that there is a pump to distribute pressure to the front and rear brakes, is the pressure and piston movement of the 4-pot the same as the 1-pot caliper?
