Can you help. I've got a set of OZ Supertourismos and the black lettering is flaking off. Any ideas where I can get these repalced. They were bouught second hand so don't know how old they are.

Grateful for any help

AllanB,
as far as my knowledge goes, you will not be able to get hold of these. The OZ racing you refer to, is painted on! I have recently dipped my OZ ST Evo's 2 anthracite, loosing the OZ print. I 2 had the same question direct to OZ. The only awnser is to make some up. I took digital photographs of the wheels before they where dipped just incase I decided to get them done. Apparently it will cost about £40 to get some made. I haven't bothered as of yet...wheel looks just as good without !

You could speak to Stikki Pete and see whether he could make some up. Mail him at pete@graphix.co.uk or call him on 0850 472758.
As I recall, there was a fault with a large batch of these wheels and owners were able to get free replacements.

My wheels done the same, Glen at Revelution got me some replacements. I'm sure he got more than the eight he gave me. I havn't try'd fitting them yet, i think they will come off again though, i was going to get some proper one's made in vinyl but havn't got round to it yet. It is possible that i could get the ones i have scanned and e-mail the image to you so you could get them made.

Skip.

Guys, the OZ decals are normally lacquered over after being applied. So if they are peeling away then

1) You have incorrectly manufactured rims and should seek recourse from your dealer/OZ - at least some of the purchase price back. Micheldever were selling some OZ Super Tseconds whose decals had been applied over the lacquer BUT THIS WAS REFLECTED IN THE PRICE

or

2) You are using too harsh a wheel cleaner, which, over time has eaten into the lacquer and then the decal has become exposed meaning it is coming away.......cue WaxWizard
