Question

Bit of a quandry, 205's or 215's on 16 x 7 wheels, pros and cons, discuss...........

What do you guys know??

Stick with 205s. The main reason that people fit 215/40 on the 17 inch wheels is that there is a much wider range of tyres available, often at a better price.

205/50 x 16 is a popular size, so lots of tyres available at a range of prices. A good quality 205 width tyre will offer better performance than an average 215 tyre. You probably wouldn't notice any extra grip offered by a 215 tyre, even if they were the same make and model.
