Hi All
Rightly or otherwise I've just brought a second hand set of Brembo's for my beloved Scoob, all I have to do is fit them.
What I need to know is: is bleeding the system as easy as on most cars, or, is there a difference cos of the ABS?

Bleeding is easy.

Just start with the caliper furthest from the reservoir and work your way towards it.

If you are not 100% happy to do the job get someone who knows what they are doing to do it. Your brakes are too important to mess around with.

, Ive bled more brakes during my lifetime that I care to remember but never with ABS, I don't know wether the system will allow me to bleed as when the sensor tells the brain that the wheels aren't turning won't it cut off the fluid to that wheel? or is the system cleverer than that and it'll know that the car aint moving and so I'll be able to do it?

Sorry if you thought I was patronising you I was just trying to be helpful.

When I upgraded my 2 pot calipers to 4 pots and braided hoses all the fluid drained from the reservoir. I took that to mean that the pump had also drained. I then refilled and bled normally. My ABS certainly still works and I have a hard consistent pedal with the AP DOT 5.1 fluid I used.
