Nick,

I've seen some Scoobs for sale with kahn's fitted (can't remember which type - 7 spokes I think). So hopefully they do the correct offset.

T1S is the Toyo tyre you want.

ET 45 is around the correct offset, ET50 if you want 7.5J or 7J x 18

Cool

Nick I've seen the Kahn 5 spoke wheel fitted to a Scoob IMHO doesn't look all that,I think there more suited to Golfs or BMWs.
If I were you I'd stick to a more motorsport type wheel Speedlines,Racelines or The Prodrive 7 spoke in antracite would be my pick of the bunch.
But hey what do I know

I was thinking about the Khan alloys, there are alot of 911's with them on at the mo. They do look quite nice IMHO . I decided to buy some Speedline ST2's with Toyo's instead though (as I was in the market for some wheels and Nobles had these for less than the Khan/Toyo combo).

And to confirm the type of Toyo, they are T1-S (as everyone else has said!).

hehehe i fancied some khans as well.
Apart from looking rather nice they also looked a damn site easier to clean than the multiple spoke/fiddly hole combo wheels hehehe

Nick
I looked at the Khan alloys for my scoob. I settled for MIM alloys from Elite, they look the dogs!!
ptholt is right though, they are a bit of a pig to keep clean.

Nick,
I have a set of 17" Team Dyn Monza's with low profiles 225x40x17 Goodyear Eagle F1. IMHO looks great but ride is compromised and does tend to skittle around a bit on undulated surfaces which will de indicative of any 17"
But if you can accept that and If had the choice again, it would by OZ SuperT's all the way baby...
At the end of the day, it's all down to personal taste...bit of a shame that you can't TRY B4 U BUY eh?

Cool

Nick, I have fitted 17" BK Racing seven spokes in silver, and they are being painted titanium this week. Wheels are great and look like 18" as the spoke goes right to the very edge of the rim. I will e-mail you a picture if you like?

PS The scanner/computer is a different machine to mine.

Jacko, be careful with the team dymanics wheels. I had a set of the MOnza's, when changing them for Donno back in March I found the two of them had cracks on the inner rim. These are very soft alloys.

Dan,
Funny you should say that, I put a new front set of F1's on me Scooby last night and had a close inspection of the alloys...
About 2 weeks ago I hit a pot hole at high speed and heard a gut wrenching thud.
Tracking was thrown out but no noises. Had a quick look see at the front wishbone etc. seemed fine.
Yesterday I noticed that the nearside had 2 flat spots on the inner rim, they seemed fresh say by about 2 weeks Jet tyre's could only hammer out so much. Checked steering arm, wishbone etc. no visible damage. Wheels balanced up OK, tracking readjusted, car drive's fine. For £35 sobs each alloy, Jet's can send them away and get them straightened out and kerbing sorted plus lacquered.
MORE money.......that AP kit looking ever more elusive...
