Cool

I know it's all been said before, but I am still quite new to the delights of the Impreza so here goes......

I need new front disks and pads for my MY96 Impreza Turbo and I am considering fitting Bremsport Disks and Mintex pads, what do you think??

I am also thinking about fitting braided hoses, Dot 5 fliud and getting one of the Scooby Mania master cylinder brackets, are they all worth doing??

Does anyone have the part numbers of the Mintex pads??, I want to try to scource locally (Aberdeen)

Lastly, should I expect my Insurance premiums go up if I uprate the brakes as described??

Cheers

Stuart

Cool

The support bracket is a great mod. Mine took 15 mins to install and the pedal feel you get is well worth it.

Falkland (not far from Aberdeen) do the Mintex pads - part numbers and (SIDC) costs are:

MDB1688 Front >97 £ 60.00
MDB1794 Front 97-98 £ 80.00
MDB1416 Sti Front/4 pot £60

Make sure you bed the pads in properly or they will squeal like a pig!

I have 1155s and the Bremsport discs and this has not affected my insurance premium, but they did need to know.
