Question

1. Has anyone used Tarox pads?
2. Most people talk about Mintex 1155's. Whats the differance between these and 1144's or 1166's?
3. Are Pagid blues worth twice the money you pay for Mintex 1155's?

Hi James

AP Racing actually recommend EBC Green Stuff pads for fast road and Red Stuff for track use.

They admit they find it difficult to understand how EBC manufacture such a good pad at such an incredibly good price!

Kind regards

Ben

Sorry, but EBC Greenstuff pads are by far the worst pads I've ever used.

They lasted a total of 3 months (no track use), were no better than the already poor standard pads, and cracked and crumbled to bits.

Pay extra for the Mintex, and don't waste your money.

Davie

Pagid blues will probably last longer than standard subaru pads, but they will wear standard discs more. It's all about compromises! With the right disc material, my pagids not wearing the disc unreasonably and performing extremely well.

i have found ferrodo DS2000 pads the best. I had a set of EBC greens and took them off after a week of scaring myself to death with pad fade, they were worse than standard for grip aswell.
