Tal.... I am just replacing my 17" P Zero's because the wet handling isn't up to much with SO-2's which I have had before. P Zero's are good in the dry, but do overheat on a track. I've managed about 11,000 miles out of set, and that's with about 600 miles of track use! Not bad really.

better in wet than original bridgestones. good in dry. mine were pretty well brand new at donington, whether it was the newness, but they did go off very very quickly. Colin Pearce took me round (he has original bridgestones) his grip was far far superior.

Hi Tal, I'm on my 2nd set of P zero's, unlike anyone else I think they are pretty damn good. It's like everything, as long as the car is set up for a corner, then grip is not as big an issue in the wet, granted it helps. If I am pushing it to the limit where I am loosing grip in my Scoob, then I think I would have to be taking a good hard look at myself, and say 'Calm down, ya silly ****!!' I'm not a rally driver, just a normal punter that likes to push on pretty quick without scaring the bitumen out of the tarmac.

I'd agree with Steve the P-Zeros are crap in the wet compared to the dry. In the drive they give excellent feedback, but in the wet the don't inspire any confidence.

They do last though as long as you don't spend you life on the track.

I've done over 7K miles on my original set and they still look like new (well almost).

I run P-zeros on my Supra with 265 17s on the rear and they are a good tyre but take a long time to warm up. Once they are warm they are fine but until then the car power slides all over the place. Might be different with a lower width tyre, but I know I wont be using them again and will fit Bridgie S-02s. Even my Dunlop SP-9000s were better.
