I am thinking of upgrading the wheels on my MY98 and was looking at

Yep.
Got them in anthracite. Quality is as good as they say, i.e, better than the paintwork on the car.
V. light as well. Look fairly aggressive. Seen SS wheels in the flesh - they look just as good, are cheaper and harder to clean.
It's a shame no one does an exact replica of the rally tarmac wheel, they're like a cross between GT1s and Super Ts.

Craig,

What car have you got - I'm interested in 17s for my STi and wondered if they'd fit ok. How much did they cost and do you have to pay extra for anthracite?

Got an STi V in Grey. Anthracite was no extra charge. Came to 1200 with locking nuts, delivery, tyres etc.
If yours is grey, IMO the anthracite are too light. Almost identical to the car - although it does look good.
If yours is silver/black/white, they'll look the biz.
If you can wait that long, I'm down at the dyno day on the 11th Dec.
