Question

Hi all

Has anyone fitted Graham Goode's Brembo brake kit? It is a 305mm Front brake conversion, supplied with Galph pads. It costs £1274 fitted.

How does this compare to Scoobysports Brembo kit?

Thanks

Sonu

Hi there,

GGR's kit uses Gold coloured calipers.

I heard there is a difference in spec between gold and black ones ? Ones race and ones road ?

Pete Croney will be the best person to ask - Hes back in work today :-)

Cheers,

J.

ps - I have never heard of those pads

The Scoobysport Brembo kit is the only authorised Brembo brake conversion for the Impreza.

I believe Scoobysport worked with Brembo to develop the kit (recently improved with even higher quality fully floating discs which are warrantied for track use), and Brembo provide the warranty for the conversion.

Brembo's only involvement with the "other" kits, was to supply smaller "generic" calipers to various suppliers, who have made up the kits using non Brembo discs, pads, etc.

Pete at Scoobysport is probably the best person to talk to regarding the differences.
