When I got my STi, I changed the dubiously coloured (in my opinion) gold wheels for some stylee anthracite ones. Thing is, now one of them is buckled and I have to either replace it or upgrade to 17"s.

Mr GGR can supply me a single anthracite 16" but does anyone know of anywhere that would colour a set of 17"s to anthracite for a reasonable price?

I know Pete Croney @Scoobysport has a set of Supertourismo's in 17" that are anthracite and also have a new set (4) of tyres (S-02 PP's)on as well. Not sure how much he wants for them or what, but i am pretty sure it was a set of 5, Call 01268590085.

As long as you dont have the big 4 pots from an STi 5 that is

I'm no expert (far from it) but I would imagine that you could get wheels powder coated in Anthracite in the same way that you can get them powder coated gold.

FYI My wheels are in being coated at the moment for £40 per wheel (+VAT) - a quote which is at the high end of the range (but he had the "right" shade of gold...)

Question

Ian

I have been thinking of putting 17" supertourismo rims on my STI 5. None of the wheel shops I have talked to have said that they will not fit. Is the case that they won,t fit.

STI brakes, MY99 brakes and the Brembos wont fit over ST's..... but will fit over ST2's (curved spokes)...
