Tyre size choice
205/45/17 is the size recommended by Prodrive, but 215/40/17 gives a wider choice. Personally I have 215/40 17 Bridgestone S-02 PP's on mine, I am not keen on the Pirellis, and i think there are only 2 more makes Yokohama being one that make 205's in this size. Both seem to be fine on the car though.
Mike, experiences in Catalunya in Anders car with Pirelli's on it. I am not saying i would never have them, but would be very careful if i ever put them on a car. They seem to go off, and stay off
Ive just got through a set of 215/40x17 Falken GRBs in 17,000 mls and just replaced them with a set of 205/45x17 Falken ZE205's? For the money and performance I don't think Falke's can be beat.
