I take it that's the price on Mytyres.co.uk puff?
Need to add £20 for fitting to do a fair comparison with any garage. (I expect you are aware of this though

I've just paid £383.99 for 4 215/45/Z17s (fitted balanced etc at Protyre in Slough). Dunno how that translates to the 40 profile - are they normally more or less?

Load index
I would check that the load index of 83 is high enough for the Impreza.
I recall a thread about this some time ago, but I can't do a search
My MY02 has GSD3's (215/45/17) with LI=91
but I don't know whether this is a minimum requirement for my car, or a requirement for your model.

IIRC the trade price for the old GSD2 was < £50. Makes you wonder just how much money some garages want to make on tyres.
Anyway, that's about as cheap as I've seen them. Perhaps all the hype on here has pushed the price up a little

Just paid £180 for two GSD3s fitted - from Protyre in Bristol. Rang round many places, they were the cheapest.

Well thats probably because they were crooked and the tyres fell off the back of a lorry. Loads of people on here got ripped off by paying that guy at Crossroads garage for none existent tyres and he still owes them the money they paid about a year later
Anyway they normally seem much more expensive than mytyres.com but blackcircles.com very recently had the F1's on special offer so check them out just in case - they also do a price including local fitting
