17's on a Type R - Brake Clearance?
Hi all,
I'm about to take the plunge and plonk 17's on my v4 Type R in place of the rather small looking 16" Advan lightweight's currently in-situ.
I'm thinking about the Wolfrace Urban Racer as they come in a nice shadow chrome or gold, look like a 'scooby wheel' and have the right offset. However, I'm concious of the clearance between the rim and the big brake calipers - the Advans are really close as is and I'm worried the Urban Racers may foul the caliper.
Anyone moved up a notch with their Type R and did you have any prob's with clearance and if so would a pair of spacers help? More to the point, has anyone fitted UR's before?
Before anyone asks I'd love to run 18's but I have the Tein coilovers and even with 17's and 40 profile it's going to be tight under the arches...
Cheers in advance for any tips...
