Axxis Brake Pads Australia
Quick question for the brake guys. Has anybody heard of or used Axxis brake pads from Australia. Apparently, they are superb and used in the Australian car racing. I have a chance of some cheap pads and rotors from Oz, and would appreciate any comments.
Thanks

If you are asking about the Ultimate compound... We have done a lot of testing of various pad compounds and found the Axxis Ultimate to be the best high performance pad for street and autocross for the price. The pad works cold, and has a MOT of 932 degrees F with no fade until 850 degrees F. This pad is not so well known in the UK, but it is very popular in the Subaru community in the U.S. (Australia also, I imagine) One word of caution… If you exceed the MOT, you will get pad deposition, which will feel like a vibration. Is a great pad for a competitive price as long as you do not exceed the pad's limit. We recommend this pad for street and light track use. Characteristics are similar to that of Pagid Blue. If you are on the track and start to feel the pad fade because you are reaching or exceeding the limit, we recommend that you back off (obviously) and switch to a race pad.
Good luck.
Good luck.
