Default Removing Front Brake Disks

Hi,

trying to remove the front discs on my 99/00 outback sport. But there are two threaded holes in the disc with something in them and no means to get them out, does anyone know what these are for?

Also, to get the disc off is it just a question of giving it some welly and it coming off the hub or is there some horribly complex way of getting the li' b'stards off?

Thanks

Phin

The 2 threaded holes are used to screw 2 bolts in them to get the discs off ,as you screw the bolt in it should left the disc off the drive flange , other than that just give it , as you say , a bit of welly !
