Question Standard MY00 replacement discs/pads

Replaced my standard discs & pads with EBC's last year... not impressed! Now looking to revert to standard (as they were just as good if not better).
Is it normal to change front pads more frequently than tyres?

Can anyone recommend a particular make of disc/pad and where I can get hold of them.

Thanks
Adam

Thumbs up

Try www.camskill.co.uk if you want pads and discs. Their front discs for 4 pots cost £90 a pair and rear discs are about £70 a pair. Good discs as well, i've got their cross drilled ones and am impressed. They also do loads of pads, just depends what you want.

I'm on my second set of Black Diamond discs - reasonable prices, and they last well.
Currently using Mintex 1155 pads which are good, and relatively cheap. Ferodo DS2500 are good but a bit pricier. I got my discs and pads from ScoobyMania I think.

Are the diamond blacks drilled or grooved as I'm only after regular smooth ones.

They do either drilled or grooved - don't know if they do plain, but drilled/grooved are better (allegedly) anyway, price difference would be negligible. As mentioned above, AS Performance seem to offer the best prices for brakes, and know their stuff.
