Alex , I havent told you to drive to Wales , thats your choice ,I told you if was leaking dont drive it and send me the caliper , I would sort it that day and sends it straight back to you , back in september , it would have only taken a couple of days but you said it had stopped leaking , I told you it was dangerous to drive if it leaks , but it is dragging on and on where as it could have been done staight away ,

Ian, I wasn't saying I wasn't treated fairly, and if you remember I explained that I couldn't afford to be without a car (as is the case for most people) so sending them back wasn't an option, and also that 3 days was a bit optimistic IMHO.
All I was saying to Geoff was that if he wanted a new caliper he would likely be waiting a while because after you agreed to send me another set, I haven't received any since then, so Geoff will most likely be waiting a while as well this is all I was saying.
The reason I am slightly peeved though, is that you still haven't sent caliper bolts to the correct length (supplied ones were too short for the nut to go on as I mentioned back in September) so I'm still using B&Q grade 8.8s which I cut to length myself. And the spacers I had to grind down myself as well, which is not a short or easy process if you're not prepared. It's just a bit dissapointing being as they are sold as a 'kit' with no warning that some work might be necessary.
Having said all that I'm happy with travelling to Wales to get them sorted, I don't mind driving over there if it means my car isn't off the road. Presumably this is still ok?
