Does anyone know if an Ap 6 pot brake kit that was bought for a UK300 would fit on a P1 with standard P1 17" wheels? Or will it need to be modified, different brackets or brakelines etc. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I know **** all about brakes.

It should fit, it would depend on the disc size

I Agree With Davey, Its The Disc Size Thats Cause For Concern, I believe If They Are The 343mm Discs They Will Clear A 17"Rim, But I Believe AP Do A 372mm Disc Which Won't Clear You Need 18" Rims.

Wink

I have 17 inch KHANS and my six pot AP with 330mm discs just fit,I would suggest if you get bigger discs than 330, then you will need 18in.

You can download a .pdf from here that you print, cut out and use to fit inside the wheel to check for clearance. Very Blue Peter but it works.
