Keeping new alloys clean?

About the only thing available seems to be good quality wax. I put a couple of coats on my '01 wheels (which are on a '98 car: ), and did the inside with the same, followed by Turtle Gloss guard.
They don't STAY clean, but are easy enough to GET clean again, if you see the difference.

I use professional Bees Wax- two or three coats during winter keeps the wheels from pitting etc and prevents the brake dust getting into the wheel coating.

Easier method is to use Autoglym Gold. Very easy to apply - leave for 30 mins and wipe off. It has quite a high silcone content which makes it nice and slippery. It has worked well on my wheels and makes cleaning them a lot easier.
