Elo all,

well, i picked up the scoob this weekend, must have spent nearly £50 in petrol allready!, though i have to say if driven reasonably with mild, well, not too mild! :-) bursts of power it certainly doesnt seem much different to the fuel i was going through in my 1989 325i. My question is, the car is fitted with 205.45.17 tyres, what pressures should these be at, i checked them and they were all on 26 which i thought was low, i checked the sticker in the door and it says fronts should be more than backs goign by the standard wheels, i've put them at 32 front and 30 back and it was much better, but just wanted to check with u pro's.

I have 16" rims and run 28 psi in the rear and 30-33 psi in the front (when i don't get a nail in the tyre like this morning anyway ).
Have a search for "the Subaru Impreza FAQ" in any search engine and you'll get a wealth of info that should help.

I have the same size tyres and use 33front and 32 rear.

I use 33psi on the fronts and 30 / 31psi on the rears
