i've just bought a set of s/h alloy wheels which came with kuhmo tyres like new,i always thought these tyres were cheapies and was going to replace them with toyos, looking about these tyres are actually £4 more than toyos.
the car seems to turn in quicker and seems to grip o.k but doesn't have the same feel as my old yokohama set-up
has anyone tried these tyres?

I have just bought kumos type 512's and so far am very impressed wet and dry have had them before and think they are a underated tyre okay not the best but for 4 f1 17" looking at £400 4 512's 17" £260 . They sponsor the kumo ralley challenge on sky and also sponsor the porshce cup challenge .Every one has their own opion unless you are on a race track and worry about tenths of a second your average driver if honest would not tell the difference.

hope this helps

215 x 40 x ZR17 Kumo. A set for £230 inc balance inc valves were cheap enough and they are OK in the dry but not good in the wet where I rate them behind F1s,Toyos and SO2s in that order.
Will not buy another set but would swap them for a set of snow tyres.
