How to be a tyre fitter - lesson 1
1. Pump it up to 50 PSI.
2. Mix a bit of washing up liguid in water and pour over the tread while rotating the wheel, look for bubbles.
3. No leak, place wheel on its side and pour mixture around the rim and sidewall looking for bubbles again.
4. Repeat no 2 on otherside of wheel.
5. Remove valve cap pour mixture around top and base of valve looking for bubbles.
6. If you see bubbles don't ring Micheal - it's probably to juvenile a problem for him.
7. Fix the leak
8. Reduce pressure.
Other than that it could be the alloy itself leaking which would need refurbing or sealing by an expert.
The above is a quick guide and if your loosing pressure and are not sure what to do - get an experts opion as low tyre pressure is often the cause of blow outs or can even cause the tyre to part with the rim
