I am going on the derbyshire tour on sunday, my current tyres came with the car and are a mixture of r rated 205/50/16's with 3-4mm of tread I have the chance to change tomorrow for zr goodyear eagle f1's. I could wait as the tyres have tread but which will be safest 2 day old goodyears or well run in mixture?

Just changed mine to Toyo's and i gave them a good 500 miles (prob. over the top.

Same as tmo, 500 miles and all should be well again. No heavy cornering in the mean time

Thanks for the advice the tyres will have to wait for a bit wasn't time to run them in. Just hope it's not too slippy today.
