Just had two wheels refurbed at "Kingsway Tyres" in Grimsby, quick run across the bridge from you.
Total cost was £30 for the two, and a very good job they made of them too.

Aaaah! I had to leave the wheel for about 2-3 days each, but I'd bought a spare the same size, so I wasn't bothered.
Once mine were done I sold the spare for what I paid.

Drive over on the scratched one, get them to change it, go back on the saver. Then reverse the deal. That way at least you get a return over the bridge to "play", esp if you take the back road to Gy.

BTW: if your wheels are gold, give them a ring first to make sure they can do it.

Wheels aren't gold so no probs there. I thought space savers were a get home method - you can't go over 50 mph on them, can you??
