will a 225/35/18 tyre fit on a 7" wide rim, or will it be too wide and cause too much tyre flex and have to fit a 215/35 intead?

i have a 3cm wider tire on a 2.54 centimetre wider rim and it seems to fit very well indeed.

at least the tyre fitter thought so.

Adam M, is that compared to standard sizes? so what wheel size and tyre you running at moment?
