as above
I am looking to fit a set of 17" alloys to a 96 sport and i really like the ones from the bug eyed version ,
i have been told by a salesman in stan palmers in carlisle that they wont fit.

is this true and if so can i put spacers or do anything to get them to fit

cheers

WRX wheels should fit, well they do on a turbo but WRX STi wheels wont unless you change the tyres they come fitted with.
Im presuming that because they fit a turbo they will fit a Sport..i cant see why they wouldnt.
Ive got both WRX wheels and WRX STi wheels for my clasic turbo, the WRX ones i use for track days and both have been fine.

The wheels off a bugeye, (as against the new blobeye), WILL defo fit. I have them on my '98 car, no probs, except you rather HAVE to get bigger discs 'cos the old ones look daft:

They will fit but if you get OE wheel/tyre combo, then your gearing will be out.

You will need to replace tyres with 215/40/17s or 205/45/17s to keep the correct rolling radius
